AdventureX Guides Tusc & Maila take 1st & 2nd place in the 2009 Himalayan Whitewater Challenge
Following on from last years impressive 1st places for their respective categories, both Tusc and Maila showed they meant business with a 1st and 2nd place in this years Himalayan Whitewater Challenge.
Tuscany Foot competing for the first time in the international mens category was up against some of the worlds best kayakers. Coming 1st in the rodeo and with impressive results in the down river and slalom gave him a 2nd place overall.
Coming 1st in 2008 amongst the Nepali competitors Maila once again stormed the field to take another overall 1st place!
This was another fine end to a superb Autumn season in Nepal for AdventureX and all the boys. Bouyed by his success Tusc has warned everyone that he wants first next year... watch this space!
Both Tusc and Maila on busy with other things but will be back on the river and leading our trips in Nepal in the Spring and Autumn seasons of 2010.
